Well, it's certainly been an eventful few weeks around here in my Vintage Trunk full of Junk! Let me fill you in:
The week before Thanksgiving I participated in a Holiday Market at a local school. I hemmed and hawed about doing it, and finally made the decision just a few days before the event. It really was a no-brainer; I had the inventory, the show was only a few blocks from my home, it was held indoors, and set-up didn't start until 8:30 am.
I was really glad I did it -- sold a bunch of stuff and had a good time! Here are some photos:
The small chalkboard frame was the first thing to sell.
Remember those gnomes/elves? They are all gone!
I enjoyed arranging my wares and adding some festive touches.
The vintage silver chalkboard trays were the big hit of the market! I only had a couple left by the end of the day.
I think the vintage Santa candy sleigh dish was the second thing to go. It may have been the lure of the M&M's®.
I made some more holiday book stacks like the Halloween ones.
I tried to help the customer visualize how to use the silver trays. It's all about the staging, people!
Now if only I could have filled that pitcher up for real!
I have much more to show you -- stop back soon!
