After arriving in Bouckville late in the day on Monday, I met up with Barbara of Oodles and Oodles. Based upon our mutual love of vintage Christmas, it was serendipitous that this booth was one of the first we saw.
Also based upon our mutual love of vintage Christmas, it's a wonder we didn't resort to hair-pulling and arm-wrestling as we fought over all of these holiday treasures.
We actually played very well together, and respected the "she who sees it first, has first dibs" rule.
It also helped that this guy's prices were a bit outrageous, but he did have massive quantities of everything vintage Christmas imaginable, and it's always fun to just browse. At least that's what we kept telling ourselves!
The big mercury glass bird on the left was my lone purchase here (got the other at a barn sale later in the week, but that's a WHOLE 'nuther story). He's much bigger than the ones I normally see, and actually a good price, so I got him.
We did scavenge for Shiny Brites and other glass tree ornaments at a different booth when we heard the vendor exclaim that everything was one dollar -- much more our thrifty speed.
Also found some affordable bottle brush wreaths and trees along the way.
This box of pink beauties was in a half-off booth. Another bargain!
Found this little box of vintage reflectors.
And a bunch of even older ones. I didn't realize how many were in the little baggie, and am kicking myself for not buying the other two that were there.
I may have even nudged Mr. VJIMT over to the dark side, as he found these Gurley Santa candles for me.
That's not all the vintage Christmas, but I'll save the barn sale treasures for later in the week. Wouldn't want to overwhelm you!
Oh man! love the photos!

Good grief. Just popping over from Barbara's and you both did well. How did you maintain composure? These are beautiful...smiles..Renee

This was one of the first booths we saw on Tuesday and sister Lynn was amazed! So pleased we bumped into each other again! Next year...we'll be sure to have lunch together...
P.S. I am a dollar girl too! :)

Linda asked the guy for a price on ornaments Saturday and it seemed even higher than when we stopped! He must enjoy packing them up and taking them places.

I want to walk through the monitor into that second photo and grab that blue garland -- the only thing stopping me is knowing the vendor had high prices. At least this story has a happy ending. Dollar items (especially vintage Christmas) are the best!!
