What a dilemma -- too many yard sales to choose from! Blocks and blocks of junky possibilities. My head is spinning from all of the chippy opportunities. I think we picked the good ones to go to, but who knows what treasures we missed -- such turmoil!
This awesome pale blue bookcase has some great feet. I'm hoping to squeeze it into Sophia's bedroom for more much-needed storage.
I loved the curvy legs on this chair; I know it's beat and the seat is falling apart, but I couldn't resist. And no, I don't know where I'm going to put it, for those of you wondering (such a silly question!). Also found this cool white toolbox and small suitcase.
Another great chair, a free beaded purse (with purchase) and interesting frames. I might sepia-tone some photos of our own and replace the original images. Because I don't have enough projects.
Look at this cool toolbox chest thingy with two drawers -- top opens up...
Ok, here's the kitschy part of the yard sale travels. I think this is a great Halloween decoration for the porch -- old suitcase sprayed black and ghosts painted on the front. Includes crow sitting on the top. SPOOKtacular!
And this fun American flag jacket. I like it just draped over the rocker for the July 4th festivities. It weighs a ton and is totally covered in sequins. Can you see an Independence Day scarecrow wearing it?
There was a fabulous estate sale prior to these finds; I'm going to post that later. What a great junking weekend right in the 'hood!
You live in the best neighborhood. Love the idea of sepia toning your photos... especially if you put in Herve instead of Paulies photo!
