This week I listed both old and new inventory during my Etsy 365 Project. Ironically, inventory that had been in pristine condition for the last 50 years met with its demise the moment I took it out of my year(s) of storage.
I dropped one of these set-of-four ivy glasses. Now set-of-three. Sigh.
Maybe I should stick with the non-breakables? At least I couldn't damage this adorable embroidered deer linen. Although I should have at least ironed it before I listed it. But wouldn't that set in the stains that I am loathe to try to remove?
My vintage sawdust-stuffed bull dog acquisition from last week's auction saw a quick listing on both Etsy and ebay.
And I FINALLY listed the exquisite hand painted Victorian parlor-style bird plate I showed you last summer. In addition to my own hours of research, I received expert information and advice from fellow vintage blogger Mitzi of Mitzi's Miscellany and from my Etsy Vintage Team-mates Heidi of NachoKitty and Maureen of Kenton Collectibles. Better late than never!
WEEK SEVEN
43. Vintage Glasses Drinking Ivy Leaf Leaves
44. Vintage Tablecloth Embroidery Deer Bird Linen
45. Vintage Typewriter Keys Plastic Green Round 47 Lot
46. Vintage Stuffed Animal Dog Bulldog Terrier Velvet

Oh no! That feeling when you break something that has lasted all these years! I recently broke a tea cup which was one of a set and was broken hearted.
i love the deer embroidery. Gorgeous.

Hey, I just wanted to thank you for getting me jump-started on Etsy listing. I'd been putting it off because I don't have a good camera, and your post on using your iPhone made me wonder if I was due for an upgrade. Turns out I was, and I've spent the morning making a dent in the pile of 1950s doll dresses that have been staring at me accusingly since I bought them. The Etsy app is making it super easy. Thanks for inspiring me to get moving!
