Meet Betty Lou.
She's new here.
But she's been around the block.
I found her on Craig's List, quite by chance. I don't really spend much time there. It's not really my kind of place.
But I just happened to be hanging around, and so was Betty Lou.
She was looking for a new home, and I couldn't just turn her away.
Especially since she was, let's just say, more affordable than most of her kind.
I'm hoping she gets along with my other girl.
Because I would have a hard time choosing between them. Isn't she a beauty?
Since there's no junking on the horizon this weekend, I thought I'd share this sort-of recent acquisition with you. As you can see from the greenery in these photos, I started this post in September but somehow never finished it. All those weekend yard sales must have distracted me.
And Betty Lou? That is the real-life moniker of the woman who sold her to me!
Oh my what a wonderful find. She is simply beautiful. Someday I hope to find one just like her.

Betty Lou is awesome! But you really need to find her a head or a nice hat... that thing at the top is kind of gruesome!
