On Thursday, we met up with Sue from Vintage Rescue Squad -- boy, did she get some good junk! Unfortunately, we didn't get to hang out much since she was just coming into town and we were on our way out, but we managed to have a blast at dinner!
The title of this blog post in no way is related to the two drinks we have in our hands.
It does relate to the double treasures I found in Bouckville, however, such as these vintage felt pennants. This Cooperstown one looks kind of backwards though, doesn't it?
The direction of this Johns Hopkins one seems more natural to me.
We also found these vintage globes.
And these small paint-by-number framed pieces.
Also these vintage carnival chalk dogs…
(and one famous duck)
Vintage Halloween decor.
And a pair of $1 vintage insect rhinestone pins, which upon further inspection are marked Pegasus Coro Sterling (dating to the 1940s) on the back.
My research also unearthed this design patent for the piece. Cool, huh?
Hopefully we can set up a Pennsylvania/New Jersey vintage blogger get-together sometime this fall or next spring when Sue's in town for the Kutztown Extravaganza weekend. This blog post title may be much more relevant then!
