There weren't any yard sales this weekend since the weather was more like February than October here on the East Coast.
But I still have some things to show you -- this is the rest of my haul from my Christmas in October day.
Love these red and white vintage glasses -- are they swanky swigs or are they too big for that name? -- the color is so vivid. I'd love to keep them, but I'm afraid they'd find their way into the dishwasher and I'd end up with plain old clear glasses.
I speak from experience.
Sweet little white table with curvy legs.
Ivory gloves with exquisite detailing and yards and yards of vintage lace trims.
Vintage toy coffee pot and metal mixer.
PINK! metal mixer.
Black and white enamel pin from the 1960s.
Yup, looks like yard sale season is winding down. Sigh.
Love the treasures you found. I love the pink mixer - too cute! Keep the glasses. Just hand wash em!

I had that coffee pot when I was a kid in the early 60s! I think it was supposed to be a kiddie version of Corningware.

Nice finds. Wanted to tell you in my blog today I mentioned and linked to VJMT. It was in reference to your party trays. Hope everyone is feeling better now.

At least you're finishing on a high note! I don't think those are Swanky Swigs, but maybe peanut butter glasses? There might be some other kind of glasses along those lines, too (sour cream is running in my mind) - I am afraid to learn too much about another category of adorable glasses because the Swanky Swigs are really taking over all of the available space.

I have a love/hate relationship with this time of year. Maybe I would love it a little more if I found a pink mixer.
