Evidently, it's still Christmas where I live. This is what I found on Saturday, at three different yard sales.
Spun cotton head angels -- some were attached to a light set, which doesn't work, but I was more interested in the angels.
Candle-climbing elves, new in plastic sleeves.
Lots of tiny balls and bells, some wrapped in tinsel netting.
“Unbreakable” diorama ornaments from the 1960s in their original boxes.
Three small bottle brush wreaths.
Bunches of plastic reindeer on chenille stems, with their “Hong Kong” paper label still attached.
Really old German chenille ornaments with paper heads. They're in pretty bad shape; some of the appendages were scotch-taped together! I'm hoping I can rewire them a little better. That little guy on the left has a spun cotton head.
Vintage holiday linen tablecloths.
And, oh yeah, Shiny Bastards Brites.
Ho-Ho-Ho!
I found several of those angels last year at a pretty crummy yard sale. Good thing was she thought they were total junk and sold them to me for .10 a piece! I wish I had your luck w/ Shiny Brites!

Nice collection. It's really something that is a year round process to score the best vintage Christmas ornaments and decorations

Fantabulous!! What a score! I'm loving the little angels...

I got a good giggle from your shiny brites sentence. :0) Is it weird that I like the shiny brites boxes more than I like the shiny brites themselves?

I just love any vintage ornaments from the 1950's it is such a sweet reminder of my Grandmother and her trees
love the shinny brites that is all there was I think in the 1950-60's. It's all i remember

Should I admit that I have a Christmas tree up in my booth? It's covered in miniature teapots and cups, which haven't sold very well, but they sure were cute to look at!
Following over from ATG's challenge.

Nice finds! On occassion I will find vintage Christmas items, but not as often as I would like to. I do better in Indiana, when I visit there for a week in the summer. Last time I was there in August, I went to an estate sale and found boxes of Shiny Brites for .10 cents a box! I left with five boxes and .50 cents less in my pocket. Oh Happy Day!

i always ask at every estate and garage sale, first thing, if they have any vintage or older christmas stuff. to my dismay, someone has always snagged it before i got there. bummer.

Wow! That's quite a treasure trove of Christmas goodness you found. The diorama ornaments are really interesting and the climbing elves are too cute. Love the tablecloths and the reindeer also. Great stuff!

Spectacular! I believe we have shared our mutual disdain for all things elf-y, but those are pretty amazing.

I totally covet the tablecloths! Lucky you!

It would take months to find the Christmas items you find in one week! These are great.

oh my! You are killing me with your finds. You can't find stuff like that in my area anymore. Most is given away to Hannah homes and broken in their stock rooms or marked up 100x what it is worth.
