This is Why I'm Spoiled by Yard Sales

It's not looking good again for yard sale finds this weekend. But that's ok, since I'm still trying to catch up on all my adventures from before the holiday/birthday week. And I have plenty to list in my Etsy shop to keep me busy.

So I only have a couple of items to show you, but the one is a doozy! First we got this cute little chair. Here's what it looked like when we found it:

And here's what it looked like within seconds of coming out of the car. You really can't stand still for any length of time in the VJIMT household, or you're sure to be painted!

So for the fabulous find?

How about this awesome birdcage? It's huge, and it's spectacular!

Unfortunately, it's too big to put on the dining room table, where it would get maximum exposure. I already have a small one (in comparison) sitting there.

Even if I move the small one, the proportions are still all wrong. The new one is about six times the size of the baby one.

So it looks like I'll be rearranging things this weekend. How have your yard sale adventures been? Get anything good?

I am spoiled by yard sales too! So much so that sometimes Thrift store prices seem expensive!

That little chair turned out stinkin' cute. I am totally loving that bird cage too. It is definitely worthy of a bit of rearranging to make it work.
