Well, I absolutely love the lectern! It's almost like some I found on http://www.handcraftedlecterns.com I think it's so old-school-fashioned that it will look very attractive.

I can just see that schoolroom! Two fabulous finds to help create the perfect look. Great rewards for getting up early and hitting the sales!

That's going to be one fun schoolroom! I followed you over from 52 Flea and now I am your newest follower. Stop by for a visit when you have a chance.

I think your daughter is going to love using that podium! I remember lots of hours spent playing school, with my dog and all my dollies as my students!

Those blue chairs look like a fun makeover project.
I can see the lecture/podium/teacher stand (of course in purple) being useful for many things.

Glad you pulled yourself out of bed.
I slept in and may have missed good stuff but it was sooo hot! (Or am I just getting old?)

It does not want to take my comment! Little does it know how determined I am.

Brittany

You have the makings of an INCREDIBLE schoolroom with these finds! I look forward to seeing the after photos :)

OMGosh! I *Just* bought a podium at a thrift store a few weeks ago for my shop! I'm going to use it for those large pattern books from McCalls, simplicity etc.

Great finds!!

Looks like getting out paid off! I use to love to play school when I was little These pieces are perfect for just such thing. Or real school too for that matter!
