Last week, while I was scoring at the local yard sales, Mr. VJIMT opted for an outdoor antique show a little further away.
Yard sale prices are more my speed.
But he got some good scores of his own.
He bought me this awesome ledger -- It's huge, and full of school records from 1904.
Of course, he also got a little something for himself -- this fabulous vintage sign to add to his collection.
The Kutztown Summer Extravaganza starts this week. Mr. VJIMT will be there on Thursday.
I think I'm going to hit an auction on Thursday night that I've been neglecting, and there’s an interesting estate sale starting on Friday that I’d like to check out. Hopefully there will be lots of good stuff for me to show you from our junking week!
Oh Gina I LOVE these finds....The ledger is AWESOME but that sign....WOW....You'll need to check my bags if I ever visit....hahahahaha....!!!!!
Cheers from Oz,
Tamarah xx

What a lovely gift, I agree with Karen, the handwriting is beautiful. Love the colours in the sign. Isn't it lovely that our Mr's share our passion, priceless.

You always find the coolest stuff at your local Yard Sales...you must live in an area where this Vintage stuff is growing on trees! LOL! ;)

I have an old school ledger, too. It is among my favorite things! Love that you both do your own thing and come home happy. Enjoy!

look forward to it...Mr PFVT always pays too much in my opinion, but he does have good taste, specially when it comes to jewelry.

Love that ledger, how fun! Wow, the handwriting is so lovely. I think how we probably would all have better handwriting if we didn't type all the time. A lost art!
