I have to catch up -- it's another Saturday! Here's the rest of our booty from last weekend's yard sales, all headed to Etsy.
Vintage Anchor Hocking Fire King Copper Tint custard bowls and pie plates from the 1950s.
Sweet cross-stitched linen napkins in green and brown.
Half of a Lincoln BeautyWare tin canister set, a Roseville crock, and a white ironstone pitcher.
Fun graphics on this "Game of the States" from the 1960s.
A bunch of sewing and embroidery patterns from the 1970s.
Oh, and even some vintage white wicker furniture for our front porch!
And you may not believe it, but not everything we get at yard sales is vintage. Check out Sophia's recent wardrobe:
Easter dress -- $3 yard sale find. Plus beads she found herself.
Family Communion Party dress -- $2.
As the brilliant Cosmo Kramer once said “Retail is for suckers!”
Love the dishes and the white wicker is absoultely great.

So happy that someone is spotting fabulous stuff at the deals! The greater part of the stuff I'm seeing, the dealers might as well actually discard it. What a superb lesson you're enlightening your girl. Recover cash where you would be able to, and have parcels other side over to spend on the enjoyment.

I found fire king dishes in that same luster this weekend too!
So much fun bringing home the vintage treasures!

So glad that someone is finding great stuff at the sales! Most of the stuff I'm seeing, the sellers should just throw it away. What a wonderful lesson you're teaching your daughter. Save money where you can, and have lots left over to spend on the fun stuff!

These are great finds! Love the graphics on the vintage game! I'm a sucker for old games. I found a few at Goodwill last week, of course it's sad when the Thrift stores go crazy with packing tape all over the box... :(
