Yeah, I’m not a big fan of the community-wide yard sales. Usually just lots of baby toys and kid clothes for sale. I know, because I've sold them!
So even though there were 300 alleged sales yesterday, I knew the vintage pickings would be slim.
Plus it felt like it was February out there. And then it started to rain. So I guess I should be glad I got this much.
I do like the stash of rusty keys Mr. VJIMT spied.
You know it's bad when the highlight of the morning is my neighbor and his homage to Yogi Bear.
You have to give him a free pass, as their yard sale was a fundraiser for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Philadelphia. (Donation link is here if you would like to contribute.)
LOVE your Treasures Gina....ESPECIALLY the picnic basket & keys....!!
I think your neighbour looks cute....!!
Cheers,
Tamarah :o)

What a great find with those keys!
I'm not a fan of community yard sales either...great for finding cheap stuff when your kids are little, but when you are on a mission for junking, then there's not as much goodies to score with. :)

Good work on the keys, Mr. VJMT. (In complete agreement on the neighborhood sales by the way ... in addition to baby clothes and toys, there's usually terrible parking and driving!)

I thought "Pic i nic basket" sounded like yogi. Plus, you said it was cold. Don't ya just wonder how people accumulate all those keys? What are people locking up anyway? I have like 4 keys that I use.

Great finds. It seem to be raining keys...I bought a whole tin full yesterday. My son made me a brooch to wear to work this morning, ie. safety pin and a key and a safety pin bracelet. I am not allowed to take them off all day. My husband said to hide them as he doesn't want to be married to 'one of those women that wear crazy stuff' hahaha.
