So the gorgeous aqua suitcase wasn't the only thing we scored at the yard sales on Saturday.
Side note: aqua suitcase seller later told me she had a larger, matching one at her (not where this sale was held) house. Upstairs in the attic. Holding all the toys. Groan.
Anyway, back to the sales. Hubby found this way cool school desk and chair.
And this red wagon.
I was going to sell this narrow rose print at Clover Market but my sister-in-law wanted it, so happy early birthday present.
Bunch of yard sticks.
Awesome white child's rocker, including cushion covered in fab ticking fabric. Oh, and plaid metal thermos jug.
I'm not finished! All this too!
I like the sepia illustrations and vibrant red on this piece of fabric. Not sure if it's really vintage or just looks that way.
Also liked the embroidery on this set of small table runners.
Rosary beads, enamel pin, compass, clock, and silver tray.
Czechoslovakian glass decanter and shot glasses in need of a good washing.
Finally, these sweet crochet potholders shaped like little dresses.
Not a bad haul for opening day -- here's to a winning season!
FANTASTIC find! Wow! Great job :-)

Lovely finds! That flower pin is adorable. I always wanted an old-school (hehehe) desk and chair unit...maybe use it as an end table kind of piece. Plop a small lamp and a few coffee table books on there. God knows, I'm not small enough to actually fit in one!

Wow, fabulous finds, the fabric is gorgeous, and the print is to-die-for, no wonder your sister loved it... The pot holders are super cute.
I wish our yard sales were as good as that. (I am going to one on Sunday with collectables so fingers crossed.)
Enjoy your weekend, Tam x

What?! You didn't leave your number and tell suit case lady you had another 5 bucks and a cardboard box?! People are funny. You've gotten some sweet treasures, here's to continued good luck.
