Had a little plate party last weekend that I'm still slowly recovering from. Lots of late night gluing, tag-making, ribbon-tying, house cleaning, and food preparation. You can see more of the same from last year here.
A year's worth of scouring yard sales, estate sales, flea markets, and thrift stores.
Gotta destash but you know some are harder to part with than others.
Am thinking of selling them in my Etsy shop, but the shipping issues scare me. I am having bubble wrap and packing tape nightmares.
Vintage Rescue Sue and My Vintage Soul Linda found me under a table in Bouckville scoring a good many of these.
Thought this one made an appropriate ending to the post. Hope your Thanksgiving is filled with blessings, loved ones, and lick-your-plate-clean goodness!
Dish heaven is what that is! So many pretty ones. I hope they all sell for you.

Great scores! I know what you mean about shipping dishes- everytime I pack something breakable I say a little prayer that it gets to its destination in one piece.

Shipping is a cinch! I've not had anything break yet (although there is always a first time) if you pack it well, bubble wrap and peanuts. LOVE the last place -have not seen one with a turkey. Is it Johnson Bros?
