Picked up some more goodies this weekend. When will the madness end? ;)
Yay, vintage Halloween finds (dated 1969) days before the holiday! As I told my husband: they're real, and they're spectacular!
Silver tray full of blue Christmas bulbs (bulb wreath?)-- love the one Suzy (Georgia Peachez) made here -- and plastic star reflectors.
Sweet birdie dish.
Great set of retro tin canisters (hard to get a good shot with all that reflection). Some rust spots, but think they have a cool Deco look. The best part? When I asked the woman how much they were, she said "Take them. Just take them." I didn't even have a pile started. Um, ok. If you insist.
Channeled up my inner Frank & Mike for these vintage automotive manuals from the 1930's (there's also a French dictionary thrown in there). Husband looked at me funny when I bought them, but they were only $1. A little research later and I found similar ones listed on ebay for $85, so worth a shot.
The interior pages are actually in extraordinarily good condition; lots of super cool illustrations and advertisements.
But I really love this chippy blue one. Imagine it with a chalkboard interior.
